Having competed at international level, and still producing and competing young horses, Johnathan is also an accredited BS trainer, as well as BHS and UKCC. Johnathan trains all abilities of horse and rider. Working on the confidence of both, and creating a partnership is key, regardless of level. Working from pole level upwards, the training sessions are structured on laying down the correct stages of training. Key aspects will be straightness, the quality of the canter, and keeping the balance and rhythm between fences. So if you are looking to develop and start jumping, or perfect your jumping round for eventing or BS, these sessions will be perfect to get you in your stride for the summer.

There is a chance for Individual or Group lessons. If you wish to have a group lesson please book into the height you wish to be Jumping and the groups and times will be allocated 2 days before the clinic. If you need a certain time please add a note to the entry.

This perticular event is only open to people with there own horses due to the saddle club horses being used for a military competition on the same day. There will be opportunity to book a lesson with Johnathan next month on a saddle club horse.

I understand that my riding Instructor will make decisions based on information I give them and agree to always be honest and volunteer information about: my abilities and riding experience any previous riding accidents any medical condition(s) which may affect my ability to ride

I understand that competing carries enhanced risk over and above general riding and agree that if I chose to participate in any competition or event, it is up to me to ensure that I have the experience and ability to undertake the ridden tasks including any jumps which form part of it. If I am in any doubt, I will use my judgment and experience and not enter.

As riding is a risk sport we recommend that you take out personal accident insurance.

Clients are very welcome to help on the yard but please ensure you have been inducted by a member of our staff before doing so and we recommend you have adequate personal accident insurance. Your choice to ride or help on the yard is voluntary so please accept that you do so at your own risk and do not hold the riding centre or its employees responsible for accidental damage or injury (excluding accidents caused by negligence).

I understand that children are at particular risk around horses and agree that I will keep any children that I am responsible for, under close supervision when they are not being instructed by the riding school.

I understand that the riding school may refuse my request to ride for safety and operational reasons.
